For putting all your thoughts into such wonderful words. While I don't have a garden that is as beautiful as yours, I can identify with so many of your thoughts about how our lives are affected by this disease and the treatment we must endure.
Thank-you for highlighting the positive aspect of how we are being so wonderfully cared for by family, friends, work colleagues and medical staff, allowing us to concentrate on getting well again.
I hope to remember the lessons learned through this time and to appreciate the importance of just being in the moment rather than letting the business of the world take over.
Our bodies and minds will need nuturing even after treatment to recover and ensure that we regain our health and give ourselves every chance of staying that way.
I'm watching the sun rise over the sea of fog from my verandah right now. It is Day 3 after my second last Chemo and I wonder what lays ahead in the next few days of recoverery. For now I will just enjoy the view and look forward to the end of Chemo.
Take care.
