I live in the Penrith area NSW and about to start my Chemotherapy and needed to be prepared for when I lose my hair , can anybody tell me where there are some shops to buy scarfs and turbans etc. I have only found places on line but would like to go there

Hi Anne - you can try our online Local Services Directory if you like: http://www.bcna.org.au/ldirectory/listing. Maybe search on 'wigs' or 'scarves', and that should bring up the organisations that sell the different types of head covers. You can also put in your postcode, if you want somewhere close to you, and then scroll down and check the 'map' tab to see where they are. Lots of places will send them to you, though, so you don't necessarily need somewhere that's nearby.

Hi Anne, i have bought a few from headcovers.com an american firm. They were a lot cheaper, and i received them within 5 days, and they were exactly what they looked like, so very happy. Also am going to a "Look Good, Feel Good" class early April as i too will lose my hair shortly and would like some ideas with tying etc. I will purchase 1 wig, but will go somewhere, so i can try them on.
