And just for something different

Well another spanner has been thrown into the works for me, and truely I have come to expect things are always changing.

I was booked for Kidney surgery on Monday and as we were pulling into the hospital I got a call from the hospital cancelling my surugery.

So a trip to the specialist who has had 2nd thoughts, maybe we should do a biospy before removing my kidney! Hmm I do believe we asked that question more than once. So yesterday rather than having my kidney removed i had a biopsy, now its more wating for results.

Stay tuned...............

  • Frustration is one of our most common emotions Im sure.  The strength has to come from our minds to stay positive, not worry, and go with the flow, and thats not easy to do all the time.  (just passing on what I get told Donna.smiles).  I wish you a positive result, I know what its like to have things change, and we get our mind set on one thing, then out of the blue presented with another.  I am still on chapter one of "Go with the flow" mind you, but hang in there, and perhaps this will all be good news. x Bel

Naaaw........as the Mich's said what a pain but at the same time if all tests come back good you may be able to avoide the surgery.

Good luck and let us know how you go.

  • Sometimes we are tested to the limit.  For you to be in the carpark when the call to cancel surgery came through stretches belief.  The good news is that your Specialist thinks surgery may be avoidable after a biopsy - even if he took a while to get there! Will have fingers crossed for you - let us know when you get the results - keep busy!  Love, Michelle xx
