Alternative therapies

Hello,

I have stage 4 mets, lymph nodes, liver and bone, its chemotherapy for 2nd time.  Has anyone tried any natural alternative therapies? There is so much information out there on B17, marijuana oil, protocel.  I was just wondering if anyone had experienced any improvements.  I am questioning as to whether the chemotherapy is worth it, as it does not offer a cure.

  • Hello,

Thanks for your information.  Its nice to hear of people beating this without chemotherapy.  Give hope. xx

  • Hello Gillian

I am also on a vegan diet.  I read a lot of things about growth factors and hormones in milk and diary. I have not tried the fasting, but have read that it is good for regeneration of cells.  Don't think I could go without eating.  I have follow up scans next week, to see how things are progressing with chemo that I'm on.  Not sure what to do if it is not having any impact.  Have read about Protocel which breaks down cancer cells, might check into that more thoroughly.

Hope all goes well for you with your treatment.

  • Hi,

I have just recieved devastating news of an agressive return of my cancer, brain mets, liver and bone.  You ask if chemo worth it as it doesnt offer cure.  But what it offers is time.  Yeah chemo is tough but I utilise all meds available.  Antii. emetics, pain relief, diaz for anxiety and spend time with loved ones to me its quality of lifeI have now.

Hope this didnt sound to blunt of a response.  But I am thankful for time.

Wishing you well as you follow your journey

  • Hi sharon, so sorry to hear what you are going through, ,, my friends have done alot of research and  marjuana oil was on the list of things to consider and the big one is custard apples ...research  custard apples Australia  web page and go to information section ,, very interesting, ,, you eat the pulp,,  I would try anything  ....not sure how many you would have to eat per day...Also look at raw food diet ...not sure of mans name but he cured himself from cancer... I will keep a lookout for anything else. All the best Elizabeth ox
