After treatments
Has anybody had any trouble with their toenails coming off and problems with their fingernails I have finished all my treatment end of December and it is just happening the last few weeks

Thanks Robyn I was hoping to hear from you I put a pic up of how my hair is now yes I have lots of pain and pins and needles can't hold anything for long in either hand just goes numb knee pain, feet pain and now my nails awful hot flushes with Tamo..... tablet

- I had the same experience,but I didn't actually lose any nails.They stared to lift,they had ridges and dark lines,but eventually ( and I can't even remember when !) they came good.I am now 1 year and 1 month past my last chemo.After chemo,I also had terrible knee pain,but that has gone now too!! My hair is thicker than it has ever been,and the chemo curls that I had to start with have disappeared after my last haircut.Take care,and I am sure that you will find that as time goes on,all these little leftover things just disappear.:) Cheers xoxRobyn

That is great Donna You will have to take pics of your luncheon and put them up on here for all to see
Mostly I feel well, I have 7 months off during my treatment period and returned to work last year. It was a struggle for a while to be honest. I seemed tog et every bug that went through the placeand because my job involves travel I seemed to be sick in hotel rooms around the country.
These days I am doing alot better, I do enjoy my down time and have learnt to take advantage of it whenever I can.
Of course my support group is awesome, we meet about every 4-6weeks and they are the best group of women. Tomorrow I am hosting our first lunch for the year and have been busy pinking up my alfresco area. Its things like that that bring me joy.
Yes we are cancer free and I am trying to live in the now.

Yes I am not sure if it is still in our body or is it the medication we are now on, but so probably wont get back the way they were then if u are 18 months over it and still have problems.
I don't even feel myself either but nevermind at least we are cancer free how are you feeling now?

Yes I did black nails through treatment and cold gloves with chemo but this has just started happening 2 months after

Thanks for the reply rowdy yes I had good nails also but not now I was wondering if they are going to stay this way or will they get better
Hi Karen I finished chemo in June last year and I have noticed my nails chip and break really easy. I haave started wearing a nail hardner to see if this helps, I used to have very strong nails before.
