Has anybody had any trouble with their toenails coming off and problems with their fingernails I have finished all my treatment end of December and it is just happening the last few weeks Thanks Karen

What a rocky road we walk. Yip I lost two toe nails completely they just fell off at least 6 weeks after chemo ended. My hand nails are very fragile and look funny but stayed put. They chip very easily. Things will get better. Cyber hug Sarah54

Hi Sarah I finished Chemo in November and Radiation in the end of December but haven't had any problem till now and such sore feet and nails awful hey Hugs Karen

Hi Karen I finished chemo in June last year and I have noticed my nails chip and break really easy. I haave started wearing a nail hardner to see if this helps, I used to have very strong nails before.

I was very interested to read your comments because I used to be the same trying to push through without pain killers, not anymore though, why live with pain when I don't have to is my motto and then I am not so grumpy either.

I went to a BCNA seminar last year and there was a onc psychologist there, she asked how many people refused pain killers and asked why? She said we sometimes marter ourselves. Not sure about that but since my journey began I am not the same person, I am now scared of needles and have been known cry at the thought of them.

Yes Karen you could be right, it could be good old Femara causing the nail issue.

Thank you for your wishes, I am used to fighting and continue to fight to get well and on top of everything every day. Not ready to lay down yet lol.
