after treatment....
I can't make my mind up - has it been a hard slog or did I breeze through it? The answer seems to depend on the day. I had excellent care all the way through and my dear sister-in-law has been beside me through the whole journey. On Sunday, I entertained in my home for the first time since diagnosis. My confidence is so low, however, I can see a glimmer of a great tomorrow so I know it will be back soon enough, followed closely by a job to pay the bills. I am still having trouble coming to terms with breast cancer and I feel robbed of 6 precious months. But here I am, at the other end tentatively feeling well and just beginning to look forward to my next adventure. So many of you out there are helping me through this with your posts and comments and I thank you for that. I have been set back a couple of weeks because I had a strong and painful reaction to Tamoxifin so am starting another drug, hopefully successfully this time - a small glich in the overall scheme of things.......
