hi there
i never had chemo ( mastectomy plus radiotherapy and now hormone therapy) but I did have a lot of pain after my mastectomy and it made m depressed as I wasn’t used to pain.
my GP referred me to a psychologist who specialised in cancer related distress and I had a couple of sessions which really helped .
the emotional / psychological impact of breast cancer is just as important as the physical impacts and it’s important to look after your whole health.
You are not alone and the others on here “ get it “ in a way others don’t.
