Advice

Can anyone tell me if they have had a double mastectomy to help stop the cancer returning? Since I've had my lumpectomy I've had multiple scares.I think about the cancer returning constantly. My mother died from breast cancer and as she was an orphan, we do not know the family history. I am seriously considering having my breasts removed. Has anyone done this.
