Hi Mikala, considering your past history of Phyllodes I would be requesting a core biopsy if possible of the lump especially since it is close to the site of the original tumor. Phyllodes have a 25% chance of recurring no matter what grade they are (benoign, borderline or malignant) and most tumors are mistaken for Fibroadenomas. Have you got a specialist that you can be referred to?? Better to be cautious in my opinion and there isn't alot of information out there about follow up and treatment options as not much research has been done. Cheers Katie. x
