AC chemo #3

This round has been a little differnt to the last two rounds. I think we got our mixture right with just the right amount of anti nausea but the AC has been taking it's toll on my heart and other organs. I find out how good/bad/ugly tomorrow, fingers crossed all is ok. But for now, I'm thankful that the nausea is under control. It's basically nausea plus hunger at the same time so in onto losing 5kg a week anymore. Also, by asking the nurse to slow down the intake of AC on chemo day I think I managed to avoid much of the headaches that came with the second dose. I'll know for sure after tomorrow. I really am not looking forward to tomorrow but what can you do hey. Just have to suck it up and get it done. Best thing is it is the last AC that I have to do ever because it is.too harsh on the heart so even if it comes back Ill be doing something else! Just need to make it through the next couple of weeks and no more AC....

    Thanks Deanne, So far it's been pretty bad with #4, had a rough night with the nausea and vomiting but feeling a little better today. Only a couple more days until the nausea subsides I hope. I'm so sorry to hear you've had some trouble with organs from rads. It is tough isn't it, but it's just all we can do... Hope you are doing ok and fingers crossed for no long term complications for both of us. Best, Janina oxox
