Loving all of your comments and nice to see other ladies around my age ( if you know what I mean?)
Had my chemo education today and had a tour round, every person having chemo was quite old :-/ and no support group in my area with people my age group :-(
I just can justify the cost of a wig, but I don't cherish the thought anyway so it's nice to here comments that the wig isnt such the be all and end all, think I'm gonna see how I go without one for now. Was very scary today listening to the drugs they're going to pump into me on Monday (my first chemo). Have got a my wonderful husband and son supporting me but feeling really emotional today about my mum and dad being so far away (living in UK)...
On a good note, ordered a few scarfs today off eBay, can't wait for them to arrive :-)
Saw a naturopath this week too, not sure if it was helpful or not, scared me a bit about all the things we should be worried about ie eating ir drinking anything in a plastic bottle/container....to eating fresh fruit and veg which I can figure out for myself!
Only time will tell how I'm going to feel :-/
