About to start the next phase!!
I'm a 34 year old mum of one and I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July. I'm due to start chemo in 2 days and I'm freaked out!!!! I had a lumpectomy and feel like I've done a whole lot of waiting...

I am at the other end of the tunnel...lumpectomy last Nov, 4 cycles TC 3 cycles FEC, 7 wks radio...and hair growing back nicely!! I was 31 when I was diagnosed. Unfortunately there is a lot of waiting in this process but you will get there...At times it will be hard but somewhere in all the mess your mind starts to sort itself out !! I hope your first chemo went ok. For me chemo was one week off work and two weeks of part time work over the 7 cycles. It did have what I would describe as a cumulitive effect over that time, so I got more tired as the treatment went on, but remember its worth it!!! All the best
