- CathyMacMember@kitkatb thanks!
I'm doing ok. I've been getting out twice a day for a walk. Which has been a little hard in this relentless heat. My whole body seems to be sore today. Super sensitive to touch but I had a much better sleep last night. My hubby and eldest son are heading to Sydney this afternoon to start the search for a place for my son to live before he starts uni on the 18th Feb. I'm feeling so sad that I'm unable to help with this. - kitkatbMember@CathyMac @Newby24 @jomaree Hope all travelling okay with your chemo and no major hiccups have been thinking of you lovely ladies. Hang in there and just one day at a time and you'll get through this. xo

make sure you stay hydrated and enjoy a walk when it is cooler.... - CathyMacMemberThanks everyone for the well wishes! The first treatment is done and dusted. Now to see what my side effects will be. I'm waiting for it to cool down so I can for a walk after being in that chair for so long.
❤️ - arpieMemberAll the best @CathyMac - thinking of you xx
- Giovanna_BCNAMemberHello @CathyMac all the best with your first treatment, take care
- primekMemberOur fear of what might happen is worse than the chemo I reckon. You'll get there. X
- SisterMemberI won't say dont be anxious because I can't imagine that it is possible not to be. Just remember that many of us have done it and come out the other side. Make sure that you find out what to do if the meds you're sent home with aren't enough. Once you've started, you're that much closer to being at the other end.
- Blossom1961Member@CathyMac My time from diagnose to chemo treatment was only two weeks and in that time I had some type of test/procedure for Nine days out of the fourteen so I didn’t have time to think about chemo itself, it was such a whirlwind. I actually relaxed once the chemo line was in as it was all leading up to this. Take your favourite food with you just in case you lose the taste for it later. I felt really hungry during my treatment but as you know, everyone is different. I took a book to read, online jigsaw and crosswords but rarely had time for any of them as I was too busy gasbagging with my fellow inmates. I got to the point that I enjoyed this social outing! Big hugs for tomorrow. xxx
- MantisMemberAll the best @CathyMac. It really does get a whole lot easier once you get started.
