Tassie isn't that big so with your track record of"what are the odds"I think different dates sounds like a good idea.But you will have to practise the lie of "oh what a shame,we've already booked for another date,can't change it". Your trip to Tassie is beginning to be as elusive as my outdoor spa! It has been delivered(only a little one)and now awaits the electrical connecting and the paving.Still,I have high expectations of sitting in that tub with a glass of bubbly,soaking the aches and pains BEFORE Christmas.
Thank goodness my hubby didn't run over Mittens as he backed out of the garage.Don't know how we would have explained that-I can understand you trying to break the news gently to your daughter who was overseas(that's what I would have called it,not really a lie).
Have about 3 boxes left to unpack so will have a quiet day at home .I'm loving not working!
