Hi
I had 13 lymph nodes removed and fly frequently overseas with no compression bandage and no problems. The first time was 2 months after finishing chemo and 2 weeks after finishing radiation. The longest flight I have taken is 14 hours. Doctors have different opinions on this, Professor Graham from St George Private hospital wrote a research paper on it. I think people with lymphodema are supposed to get the sleeves specially fitted. I try to fly Premium Economy when I go overseas ( when they have specials) and also get an aisle seat and make sure you move around a lot.
