Thankyou so much for your post. I am facing the prospect of mastectomy for DCIS? My surgeon has told me that it is possible to have immediate reconstruction done and she is referring me to a plastic surgeon to discuss my options. Your post has given me some fuel to go in with. I had no idea that these things were possible.
