Hi Gemma I am currently booked in to have a double masectomy and keeping my nipples. I have been warned by my surgeon that my tissue from nipples will be sent away and if cancerous I will need a 2nd surgery procedure to remove them. It is a risk for me to keep them but a risk I have chosen to take. We always have choices. Goodluck.
