A MUST READ FOR ALL WOMEN FACING MASTECTOMY, EARLY BREAST CANCER, DCIS, LCIS

Hi Jen, We made the decision for double mastectomy. There was very little talk about reconstruction only one brief mention as we remember it and we were in shock I think. When we asked further down the road after surgery I was told I was not a candidate for it. In truth had I been told how extensive and brutal the surgeon was going to be I would never have agreed to it without recon...I don't think any woman would, my photos are horrendous.
