That conversation about losing your breasts is not an easy one. Especially having to remove all nodes too, I had read there was a rethink on the benefits of doing that, but hopefully your team are all up with the latest studies.
Your story is sounding a bit like mine. I had 2 surgeries then chemo then mastectomy. Is a second opinion an option? If you have cancer there they should be able to make it happen, trick is to find surgeons who understand that if youre a candidate, an immediate reconstruction is preferable for so many reasons. (the theme of this whole blog really).
