Hi there, wondering if there is anyone who has had breast cancer and then some years later been diagnosed with a blood cancer. This is my story..2005 triple neg breast cancer... 2014 Multiple Myleoma (cancer of the bone marrow). I dont know of any other person that has had two different cancers that are not related. Would like to connect.

I had bowel cancer when I was 22 (1982). I had 2 feet of bowel removed, no chemo or radiation. Then in September 2013 diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I know that I qualify for genetic testing. Of my generation totalling 7 people there are 5 of us who have had bowel cancer. My father had it and his sister had it. We are suspected of Lynch syndrome but there is another name for what we have. My brother is one of the two who doesn't have the defective gene. I will be tested after chemotherapy and my 20yo son will be tested also. If he is positive he will be watched carefully for the rest of his life.
