Thanks Deanne :-) I do try to keep positive on the whole, but rest assured, I have my fair share of meltdowns just like everyone else...I just don't publicise them on here (much), as I think generally people would prefer to read about more positive things.
I actually think that I try to distract myself with positive things as a way to kind of ignore the more "realistic" side of ths thing called cancer...I'm quite worried for my future and health, the impact of it on my career, finances, relationship and general sanity, the same as everyone else in this boat (or on the rollercoaster) !
I know everyone deals with it dfferently, but I'm actually quite worried that it will all catch up with me as I haven't really properly addressed and acknowledged a lot of things yet. I am considering getting some professional help now that chemo is over and I have more time. I just feel a bit weird talking to someone who has not been in the same situation, as I know they mean well, but how can they really understand?
Anyway, I'm glad that people enjoy my posts and find them uplifting, that's my aim! They make me feel good in posting them. :-)
