8weeks after bilateral mastectomy

I wanted to let you all know I feel so much better this week :) if someone told me 3 weeks ago that I would feel almost back to normal I wouldn't have believed them. The pain is minimal and I'm able to get on with things lol like housework never would of thought I would like doing that. So I get my hysterectomy in 5 weeks I'm looking forward to getting it over with. The reason I'm writing this is to let others know it DOSE get better and there is a light at the end of tunnel :) Will let you know how I go with hysterectomy .

    I had a hysterctomy last year (non cancer related). Let me know if I can help with any questions xx

    Maljean,

    I remember so well how fantastic it was to feel almost normal and be able to do the little things like hanging out washing weeks after my bilateral mastectomies.  It is really good to be reminded that things  do improve .  Good luck with the hysterectomy.
