Wow, this is all very new and recent for you! The first few days are shocking aren't they? There is such a sense of disbelief and fear. But things will definitely settle down once you know what the plan of attack is! Don't think too far ahead; just deal with things one day at a time. All the girls on this site have great first hand knowledge of what you're going through and have all experienced the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with diagnosis. Please ask lots of questions; knowing what is going to happen will make things easier. I've been through treatment twice; first when I was 34 and then again last year at 43. Chemo, radiation and surgery are all do-able!! You'll probably be surprised how much of a normal life you can maintain while going through all of this. A great sense of humour is definitely a big help also!! xx Jane
