3D Nipple Tattoos
Hi Ladies,
As some of you may know, I've had my heart set on 3D nipple tattoos over having nipple reconstruction. I've spend endless hours searching for someone to do what I want here in Australia, but no one comes close to the job Vinnie Myer in Baltimore does....yep Baltimore USA. I am going to be in America later this year & have been in contact with Vinnie to have this done while I'm over there, it'll be a 2 day round trip from LA.
Now....I'm in a FB group called Pink Hope, & it turns out I'm not alone in wanting this done. Together with lady, we've been in contact with Vinnie & suggested he fly to Australia to have a big nip session. He & his team are keen to make this happen. There are a lit of things to get on place before we can get excited, including work visa, places to work & accommodation.....not to mention costing. They are hope to visit both Sydney & Melboure with a stop over in NZ!
What we need is a list of interested women to get the ball rolling. If you want to be kept in the loop, can you supply me with your name, location & email address.
***There is NO commitment yet from Vinnie***

This is just an exaple of his work. Yell out if you're interested. We'd LOVE it be able to make this happen.

- mum2jjMemberThanks. Tell me did your fade very much. I remeber Jill saying I owuld need a second session a few months later? Paula :)
- DeeayMemberPaula I think the recommended time is maybe 10-12 weeks. I waited a bit longer as Jill only came to the surgery once a month and I needed a day to fit in with work.
- mum2jjMemberThanks Diane. That's a good idea. How long after your nipples did you get them tattooed? Paula.

Kerry Logan of Medicink works through The Beauty House in 89 Ormond Road, ELWOOD, Vic 3184. Tel 03 9531 9666. Kerry has been a great supporter for the breast cancer cause. She has trained in 3D areola tattooing.
- DeeayMemberHi Paula You could be right. How about you ring Dr Pennington's rooms in Macquarie St and ask if you can book in there for Jill? Or Dr Stern's? Explain your situation. Good luck with the nipples. I'm so happy with all my work. Scars fading and nipples very real looking. Good luck! Diane :)
- jultolMemberI'm so super excited.. I live on the Sunshine Coast and have flown to melbourne Oct 2014 and met with Kerry Logan for a consult. She has done many amazing 3D Nipple Tattoos for breast cancer ladies. Her personality is so kind, she drew diagrams on my breast to indicate size and we talk ink colors... So... This Friday I fly from the sunshine coast again to complete my girls thanks to Kerry Logan.. She does the Medicare rebate and her work looks amazing. She can show you photos.. This is her number 0421760911.. I shall post a photo in time.. So excited for my journey is coming to an end. Please consider Kerry Logan. She's a beautiful lady ! Love Jultol xoxo
- mum2jjMemberNice to see you on here. I went and saw Jill last September when I was in Sydney. Can you believe her rooms are just down the road from my Mum and Dads place. . She is lovely. She spent time with me and drew on some nipples with a lip pencil just to give me an idea of how they would look. I couldn't believe how good just her drawn on ones looked. She was lovely and didn't charge me for her time, which was amazing. She told me she did all Prof Penningtons work and Harvey Sterns. I have now decided to actually get nipples made after seeing yours and other ladies on here. From what I gathered from what Jill told me and I may be wrong she only does those Drs patients in their rooms. As in if you had a different Dr (like I have) then I have to go to her rooms and I can't claim. I might be wrong and will have to check with her again as it would be heaps cheaper. First I have to get my nipples made which is hopefully next month. Hope all good with you. Paula :)

Sam posted recently in another post recently that they are now looking at September.

- sgoldmanMemberJulie, this was my experience too. As you say, Kerry demonstrates a great understanding of the intricate process that we have been through. I have found her slow build up of colour very helpful in achieving an optimum result. I still have some more work to to be done in February on the non-reconstructed side. When the work is complete I will, I think, feel a sense of completion for it has been such a saga (from 2010 until now). Nipples are such a welcome addition!

Lucky you to have found a medical tattooist in Melbourne... there are none in WA!!! So out of pocket expenses for the last stage of the full reconstruction.
