3am How I Hate You!

So here I am again up early, I keep waking up at 3am and it's doing my head in as once awake I can't get back to sleep. I think I must be getting old, as a youngster 3 am was when I was getting in from a club and I wouldn't get out of bed til the afternoon. There have been a lot if signs that I'm getting old recently, at the train station on Monday I saw a girl with cut off jeans for shorts, unfortunately she'd cut them that short the inside of her pockets were hanging way lower than the bottom of her shorts, in fact I think her vagina was probably hanging lower than the bottom of her shorts they were that short! And shoes, why is it I always wear flat shoes, I wore a pair of heels to work the other week and I had them kicked off and under my desk within a few hours, I used to wear 3 inch heels, I'd stagger off the bus into a pub or club, dance all night, then stagger home without them being removed once. I bought some heels on line a while ago, leopard print, peep toe, very high platform stiletto..what the hell was I thinking, I loved them but every time I tried to wear them I looked like I was wearing a very full adult nappy. It's not as if I even go out clubbing to wear the damn things, I used to put them on every now and again and wobble around in front of the mirror admiring them but succumbed to common sense and gave them to a friend who still has a life and a head for heights. Chemo has been ok, I'm not having anything major, just general little annoyances. This week I pulled haemorrhoids from the Chemo secret Santa bag of joy. When people think of cancer and chemo, they think of sickness, baldness and fatigue, no one ever tells you about that you might have a small melon hanging out your bum! I can only be grateful that shorts girl didn't appear to troubled with piles as no doubt They'd have been hanging further than her shorts too! I realise this is probably tmi but seriously no one ever talks about this stuff and they should ! On a brighter note my mother in law arrived on Friday, she is staying with us until February and has been a wee godsend. The ironing pile that I was giving a damn good ignoring to has suddenly disappeared, gotta love that woman!
