30 of August the day I start chemo

Just found out that I comence my chemo cycle tommorrow, having mixed feelings one way can hardly wait to start so I can move on to the next stage of my recovery and at the same time I feel anxious from not knowing how I'll react to it. I am hoping and praying that I'll have the lighter side of side effects. Bye for now and I'll let you all know how i went tomorrow. Cheers, Monica

  • I hope things went well for you, remember we are always here for a bit of support when it is needed, and remember no questions are stupid on here, so if anything worries you, yell out, i'm sure one of our wonderful ladies will be able to answer any questions you have.

  • All the best Monica, hope all went well with the first day.  You have come a long way since the beginning. Scary it is but you will be ok, Your stronger than you think and Time will fly.  Good luck

    Cheers Jo xxx

  • I just want to get it all over with, too.

    Good luck.

  • Hi Monica,  I hope everything goes well for you.  "Just go with the flow" is the best way to handle it.  Another qote I was given was "chemo doesn't last forever" (side effects may linger for a while) Best wishes to you XLeonie
