This is a card that Debbie sent me just 6 months ago when she replaced my 'Guardian Angel' - she'd given me a beautiful sterling silver one early in my diagnosis but it broke off the chain during my Radiation Treatments & I never found it (2 years+ ago) and she was so thoughtful to replace it, even tho she was going thru strong chemo at the time.
When she was diagnosed with mets, I'd sent her one, too, to help her thru. She was a nurse & was always helping others, who continued working even after her Mets diagnosis, until the chemo made it impossible to work - a strong lady, with a beautiful family ...
This time last year, she even had cells harvested that were supposed to be reinserted as stem cells in Jan this year after the chemo had been completed, but sadly, she never got well enough for it to be done.
How true it is.
