I am glad you are home. My breast surgeon is a gentle sensitive man whom I find very easy to speak to and who put a great deal of care into preserving my breast shape. At the time I didnt care just wanted the BC out, now I appreciate his skill. I hope you heal from your surgery well.
As to finding mental peace, be gentle on yourself. For myself I discovered many techniques to help me cope from music through to meditation through to TaiChi. You will find a way too.
