2 weeks post surgery

Hi Ladies Well I am now 2 weeks post surgery .... Got the path results and I am glad I didn't try to save the nipples as it was there too.. But I am all clear now!!! Had my first follow up with plastics yesterday and they were happy with my progress so decided to do the first fill!!! Well.... There was 150 ml put in during surgery and they put another 150 ml in each side... Felt ok initially but by about 8pm I was in a cold sweat from the pain - back to emergency and lucky for me the registrar who had seen me earlier was on call so she took out 50 ml on each side - much more comfortable now... Apparently they had to use some additional muscle so they could get good coverage of the expander so will be extra tender in that area... So I am now at 250 ml aiming to get to 550ml.... Also while I was in theatre they used this device to monitor brain activity to assess level of consciousness ... My anesthetist called me to see if I remembered anything from the surgery as my brain had several periods of activity which can signal that you are waking up ... I advised him that I didn't remember anything - it must just be that in am super intelligent - lol ... So far so good - still a long way to go though -'9 days in hospital - day 11 before the last 2 drains came out ... I have to say though that as a public patient I feel very well cared for and the team at the hospital have been wonderful xxx Hope every one is traveling ok!!! Hugs Chris xxx
