When i was first diagnosed, my husband and I were devastated. We cried all night. In the morning we both looked at each other and said "That feels awful" From that moment on we chose to look forward. Sure there have been different emotional feelings along the way, especially when I had a secondary diagnosis 4 years later. At the time of the first surgery, I had been working full time for a long time in a stressful job and my thoughts were "At least I will get a good night sleep from the operation" You will be surprised at the love you receive from family and friends.
