I was exactly the same, still am. I have had surgery and am about to start chemo/herceptin tomorrow. I know what you're going through-you appear strong to everyone and then when you're on your own, meltdown. Just take it as it comes, probably better to cry than to bottle it in.
All the best for your surgery, take it easy and don't be too hard on yourself.
