1st surveillance scan
So yesterday I had my first surveillance scan (12 months since diagnosis).
They picked up 2 "indeterminant" areas in my affected breast. Surgeon is sure they are post surgical changes but med onc wants them both core biopsied.
I can feel both lumps (picked up 1 about 3 wks ago and surgeon was happy to leave it until yesterday's imaging, second 1 can only feel since it was pointed out yesterday).
Surely I cant be unlucky enough for it to be anything to worry about right?!?
Biopsy appmt is next mon.

- @Sister I'm well thanks! How are you going? I'm so glad to have finished all treatment, my last herceptin was on 24th dec! Must admit Christmas was lovely compared to the 1 before where I was in so much pain from chemo. My breast is still sore and full of fluid but other than that no issues, I have an ultrasound in March to check out that third little area they picked up in Oct and then see my surgeon.

- Thanks for wishes everyone. The 2 lumps came back all clear as scar tissue and fat necrosis.
There it a 3rd 1 that they are ultrasounding in 6months - Good luck @JoeyLiz for Monday , hope its nothing shitty ,
big hugs xxx - @JoeyLiz I know how you feel went through a similar thing a couple weeks ago found a small lump that I had not felt before saw my gp and had an ultrasound they think it's scar tissue but will keep an eye on it . I have an MRI in Nov and see surgeon in Dec so l hope n pray it's all good . Sending you big virtual hugs 😊xx
