I had the same chemo as you - finished Aug 15 this year. There are different side effects with each one . With FEC it was nausea, fatigue and constipation followed by the runs. I lived on soup and toast and herbal tea. It's hard to drink a lot of water when you feel sick but it really helps to flush everything out and get you feeling better. I had my chemo on a Monday and was usually feeling ok by the weekend. I took all the meds they offered me and made sure I got plenty of rest.
Emotionally the first treatment was the hardest for me. I was quite teary all that day. But once I got the first one out of the way I was much stronger for the rest. You just get on with it. Each treatment brings you a step closer to the last one.
