WOOHOO! Celebrations tonight??
Yes, it is really weird, isn't it - we are expected to go back 'to normal' when that 'normal' has gone out the door .....and in our brain, we are not as accepting as the specialists & powers that be!!
My husband had stomach cancer in 2010 (major surgery - most of stomach removed) and chemo - and I still monitor him for any change in ANYTHING! I usually get him to visit a really good diagnostic specialist once a year, whenever I notice anything that has changed.
Go with your gut feel - if you notice anything that hangs around for a while (or is extremely painful & persistent) ... get checked out.
All the best with getting the port out and your continuing good health. xx
