Sorry to hear Kathryne, that you have had a rough time! As awful as it has been, I am glad you have good care.
Sadly there are side effects with treatment, and procedures. Only until, you get to be the one you gets the short straw, do we realize how awful and dangerous these drugs are. But the big C needs to be destroyed.
So speaking as a nurse, I am always amazed how strong our bodies are to heal. And speaking as a patient, I truly feel your pain; ( I, too had a portacath put in , and had blood taken out of my feet!!!!!! sooooo painful).
Good news is that this will pass!!
