1 down 12 to go!

Hi All,

I had my first taxol/herceptin yesterday - the first of 12 weekly treatments. No nausea and no med to bring home!!! Yeah!! So far so good but they weren't taking any chances! I was there for 71/2 hours! The taxol took 21/2 and the herceptin 11/2!  This was a long! Next week I should be in and out in 3.5 hours - fingers crossed. Had a good chat to my oncologist as well and my little set backs with my temp when I was on AC was probably due to early menopause as I had no symptoms wih both episodes only very low neutriphils and a temp above 38.

Hope all is going well or as well as can be expected with you all. Thinking of you all often. If ever you are in Perth I would love to meet in person someday. Thanks to all those how messaged about AC chemo and taxol side effects - very comforting.
