!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday marked one year since my surgery.

I had my mammogram and ultrasound. the nerves were incredible!!!!.          when i was having my ultrasound, I was there for about an hour and they kept walking in and out, looking at my last films, the technician came in.So im in this big panic thinking the worst!!! they couldnt find the two lumps i had biopsies on last year in my remaining breast!!!! go figure something must be working!!!!!

  • Congratulations on reaching that first "clear " year it just feels so good. I had a similar thing to you when I had my first post mastectomy scan and mammo onmy left breast the sonographer kept asking me questions like "have you had chemo, are you taking tamoxifen " etc so asked why she wanted to know like you feeling the worst and then she said that all the previous cysts which had been in my left breast were gone! What a relief. My GP rang me the next day to confirm all was good too. So have begun to relax a bit but every ache and pain makes me wonder. Luckily all my doctors have their appointments spaced out so there is always someone to see in a month or so and I have a great GP.
