I am overwhelmed with sadness and totally shocked.......Tuesday's results revealed small cancer spots on my lungs. I am totally devasated and can't stop crying...I am secretly hoping to wake up from ...
Hi Celeste,
I've been following your postings and like the other women I am sorry that you didn't receive the results you were hoping for.
As others have said, living with Stage 4 is really just like living with a chronic disease that can be treated and controlled for years and even decades. There are women in America who first posted in the early 90's and they are still posting today, still living with mets . Don't be afraid to click on the Seconday Cancer section, you'll recognise many names from above!
I have always thought your slogan was very apt and there are many supportive women on here and in the Secondary Cancer section who will help you and stand with you as you "learn to dance in the rain."
With much love,
Joy K
