Hi Im new to this network - maggiew

Hi, I'm new to this network, I hope its ok to chat here. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August and have already had a left breast mastectomy. There were some lymph nodes removed and checked also and cancer was found in one of those. So I had the remaining nodes removed just 10 days ago.    I have read many of the comments here and wanted to say thank you for sharing them. I have been so confused about what treatment I would need and how long it would take to recover etc.. I have received "advice" from so many well-meaning people close to me that I became lost and confused by it all. From your messages here I can see that I need to get as much information as I can about my own individual case so I can decide what is best for me. I have my first appointment on Tuesday to discuss my treatment as determined by the pathology from the lymph node removal. my fingers are crossed.Thank you again.xxx
