As everyone agrees, lots of variation and choices to be made. I was however interested in Christina 55's comment about larger breasted women. I was a 16E. In spite of losing a breast, I healed quickly, no
pain and had no problems with arm mobility virtually immediately. My choice of surgeon was pretty well accidental, but I lucked on to a very good one. That's something that's worth checking if you have the time. I did get some background on the oncologist my surgeon referred me to, and that was helpful. The relationship with both, but perhaps particularly your oncologist, will be important so good to get someone you can talk to and whose approach you feel comfortable with, if possible.
