Wearing a bra after reconstruction

I am 44 years old and had a bilateral mastectomy 12 months ago. Expanders were put in at the time but they got infected and had to come out. After going through the reconstruction process again...
Hi, I had a bilateral mastectomy and tissue expanders followed by implants. I guess I am about a 16C now. My Plastic surgeon recommended I wear a bra, and he is fine with it being an underwire bra. He said gravity will cause the new boobs to sag, and that wearing a bra will help to prevent this. It is now 4 years since my surgery and my boobs are not sagging yet.
