What a great holiday idea. It is so nice when things 'just happen' like that. Really, Google may be watching from afar but who gives a damn - we only have one life to experience these moments.
Hubby and I found a little stream in the dry old mountains one summer and did the same - for a wash and cool down (it was very hot). Goodness it was cold and I said "fanny froze" - just as another car came along the bush track - hee hee - didn't they laugh (probably jealously) - we often have a giggle at ourselves for that moment in time.
Oh, and we were in our 50s at the time so imagine !
