Yes, it is a great photo - I Googled 'photos of rain' and chose that out of hundreds (or so it seemed).
To those who also rely on the rain, I hope you have had as much as us - we had the 24 mls in the gauge yesterday and another 19 today. What a blessing.
Our neighbour has been waiting to extend his dam and it was to be done last week - but no, it will be done tomorrow. What a shame. They do not live there full time so will have sufficient drinking water.
The smell of rain on dry dirt is a pleasure in life and it certainly helps me to get through.
