I’ve been looking at the mastectomy wounds on my chest today, wishing they would heal. I’ve been thinking that I want to get back to my life, back to being healthy, back to normal.

So beautifully said, Jessica. We are on the same page. Back when all this started I thought the goal was to 'stay positive' and it seemed to be what everyone was telling me. Now I know that all of my emotions are part of the richness of my life, even the 'negaitve' ones.
