I have just completed 5 weeks or 25 rounds of radiotherapy following a mastectomy. I was fortunate enough to have been told about this amazing Strata XRT gel which I used twice a day during treatment...
I was in the Private system and everyone was offered Mepitel as standard if they were suitable. I was not suitable as I had a large skin fold ( to be rectified in my stage 2 reconstruction) after my mastectomy.
I was told about strataxrt but I had to send away for it ( they gave me a discount voucher) it was remarkable I had almost no adverse skin effects following my use of it.
It was quite expensive but worth it for me.
