Psychologist adelaide??? Any suggestions

Hi @Megs04, my surgeon put me in touch with the breast care nurse at Modbury Hospital, she had a list of psychologists, a couple in Northern Area. You can contact to bc nurse by ringing the hospital. Good luck.

I see a psychologist at FMC  where she visits on Mondays only, she also has rooms at Kensington gardens the other days of the week.
This Lady specialises in cancer patients, if you would like her contact details I can pm them to you.

I live 2 and a half hours north of adelaide, think North Beach I had been seeing my pyschologist at Glenelg, then we had phone consults for several years, now we have skype, so once a month we get to chat and as I am on a Mental Health Care Plan I am fortunate that she accepts the medicare rebate as full payment. In terms of who to see, can you ask around discreetly, its always best to be referred to someone who is recommended, Im not sure that the Cancer Council will be able to actually name names in terms of who to go to, as far as cost is concerned if you explain your situation the may be able to help ie.bulkbill, you dont mention which area you live in, if you want to pm and let me know I will let you know who my pyschologist is, I know that she also skypes with someone in Port Lincoln as well, as @smokie08 suggested perhaps there is someone available at the hospital you are having treatment at,

Thanks. My GP wrote me a referral but its private so will cost and a bit if travel. Ill definately ask about rhe Cancer Centre at my appt Friday as i will be having treatment at LMH.

Hi @Megs04 when I was having treatment I saw a psychologist at the Northern Cancer  Center at the LMH it was offered free if you are having treatment there you could ask about it. If not maybe your GP could help
