I was an anxious mess the first time I had bc in 2003. I found writing down my feelings in a journal was helpful. You can’t be positive all the time with this crap bc journey. There are more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride and negative thoughts are part n parcel.It’s when those thoughts persist that you might find it helpful to see a counselor. I found walks in nature and doing art therapy distracted me.
