Three years on and I'm still working on my level of anxiety. I understand your thoughts and as I'm beginning to find out, anxiety can also be part of menopause or medication, like tamoxifen. I spent 6 months in France last year, recovering and taking care of myself. My anxiety lessened due to no stress but hasn't disappeared as I thought it would. At night I listen to my meditation tracks which help me get to sleep. Exercise has been great too. I also saw a counsellor which helped me see things differently. It certainly takes time, a lot of time to come to grips with what we're going through.
