Organ Donation
I just read on a bc fb site that I should have the organ donor thingie on my driver's licence taken off. It makes sense but I had never thought about it.

I lived in the UK for more than six months when they had an outbreak of CJD, more commonly known as Mad Cow Disease. You can get it from eating meat, and it can incubate for 40 years, so I am not allowed to give blood or donate organs anyway.
Now that I know I have a mutated gene, my husband and I like to joke about how he's married to a mutant mad cow... ;)
